Dr (Prof) SUBROTO Mandal is Trans-Radial Interventional Cardiologist and routinely performing angiography & Angioplasty, especially interested in complex & Left main coronary interventions, Renal denervation and SilverHawk in PAD. He has vast experience in primary angioplasty, graft and peripheral interventions.


Dr SUBROTO started his medical education from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal in 1989, post graduate from Rewa, MP, and subsequently after completion his education and training in cardiology he started his academic career with an appointment as Assistant Professor in the department of Cardiology, NRI Medical College, Andhra Pradesh, and subsequently promoted as Associate Professor. He worked as HOD & Professor at Department of Cardiology, Mamata Medical College, AP. And presently he is Professor & Head of the department, in the department of cardiology, L N Medical College, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India.

Primary interests are in clinical cardiology and primary angioplasty for heart attack. He is specialist in Trans-Radial Interventions/angioplasty. Performed more than 16,000 diagnostic and more than 4500 interventional procedures, including Coronary & Non-coronary Angioplasty, Percutaneous Balloon Valvuloplasty, Percutaneous closure of heart defect by Devices, Pacemaker Implantation, ICD, CRT implantation etc. Also involved in Medical Education along with Patient Care since 2006, Presently working in LN Medical College & JK Hospital, 750-bed teaching hospital recognized by “Medical Council of India” for the training of medical students.
